Dear Boyfriend

I thought I'd drop you a line about what I'd like for Christmas this year. Just to make sure you know what I want and to avoid any unpleasant surprises on Christmas day. I'm not saying the purple spandex outfit wasn't what I wanted, just opening in front of my parents might not have been the best idea. They still aren't speaking to me as you know.

I think to make up for last year you need to buy me something I completely adore - I'll list a few thing that I'd uttelry love and then you can decide how many you want to buy me for my present this year. Buying me all of them would mean I would (a) love you forever and (b) share some with you.

They're all from Hotel Chocolat This is, as you know, my favouritist chocolate shop in the world. You don't even have to go to one of their shops either - you can safely buy online from work.

My top wants are:

Amaretto Almond Apricots (Dark Chocolate) - These are so mouthwateringly good that you'll have to be very nice to me to let me share these with you. . Succulent whole apricots are soaked in Amaretto and then enrobed in dark chocolate with pieces of finely chopped almonds. Amaretto is a lovely almondy alcoholic drink which tastes just fine with the dark chocolate.

I love apricots, they're one of the yummiest fruits - and these will be just right. Soaked in alcohol and covered in chocolate. I'm not entirely sure they count as a portion for your five a day - but I'm a firm believer in trying these things out.

Champagne and Champagne Truffles (Chocolate) - A full bottle of champagne with our real cream champagne truffles presented in a wooden crate and finished with a wine waiter’s linen napkin. These will be lovely to start off Christmas day with! You could make me a lovely bucks fizz with the champagne, or if we save this til the evening we could slurp down the champagne and feed each other chocolates.

And lastly, although I will eat anything you buy me from Hotel Chocolate I'd particularly like you to treat me to some of the lovely special chocolates they make for Christmas

Hotel Chocolat's Christmas Selection - oh they look sooo good don't they. Well I'm going to have to have some!
You must must must buy me some of these.
