Ideas for christmas presents and fun stuff

Definition of Christmas - December 25th when christians celebrate the birth of Jesus and non-christians swap presents with each. A jovial holiday time when schools close and people take time off to appreciate their family and buy each other presents.

Definition of Christmas dinner. Roast turkey dinner with many trimmings such as stuff, pork stuffing, sausages with bacon wrapped round, sprouts (these are essential), carrots, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy.

Christmas pudding is served with either brandy sauce or custard. Mince pies are obligatory.

For many people Christmas is a special time of year. It is used as an excuse to entertain, have lots of parties and eat far too much food. Some people like to get away from it all and go somewhere warm and sunny. Others spend the time off work visiting friends and family they never get an excuse to visit for the rest of the year.

What to do at Christmas if you're skint?

If you've really got no money for presents then what can you do? You could make things - or recycle old gifts you've got lying about, or find some utter bargains.

How about knitting these really cute mini christmas stockings? They'd make fantastic decorations for a tree! I think they are so lovely!
What about some knitted holly too? You could adapt this to make mistletoe too and then never need to buy any more to kiss under!
